Backstory / History

Since their debut in 1986, the Vipers have been the backbone of Cobra's army — the faceless, endlessly loyal infantry troopers who carry out Cobra Commander's orders on every battlefield. Hasbro's Valor vs. Venom line (2004–2005) gave the Viper a fresh, aggressive new look as G.I. Joe faced off against Dr. Mindbender's venom-mutated Cobra forces. These updated troopers became a favorite of collectors building out the mid-2000s Cobra ranks. Collectors will find this sculpt perfect for army-building Cobra forces, Valor vs. Venom-era dioramas, or filling out the front lines of any Cobra display.
