USEC (United Security — short for United Security) is an American private military company in Escape from Tarkov, hired by Terra Group to protect their operations in the Norvinsk Special Economic Zone. Armed with Western NATO-standard equipment and fielding high-end contractor gear, USEC operators represent the PMC archetype drawn from real-world private military culture. Their distinctive cap is instantly recognizable among Tarkov's devoted fanbase.
