Backstory / History

Scalpel is Cobra's chief medical officer — a disgraced surgeon whose ethical violations got him struck from every legitimate medical registry on earth, making Cobra's offer of a fully equipped field hospital and no questions asked an irresistible proposition. Behind the operating table, Scalpel is brilliant, methodical, and utterly without conscience, conducting procedures on friend and foe alike with the same clinical detachment. The bareheaded version reveals the face behind the scrubs — calculating eyes and a thin, unsettling smile that patients would never want to see before going under.
