Backstory / History

The second Russian Recon sculpt from Battlefield 3 gives customisers the squad variety they need to build out a convincing Russian military fireteam — each operator distinct, each face telling a different story of service, sacrifice, and survival in a world on the brink. These are soldiers forged in the demanding conditions of Russian military training, hardened by deployments in environments ranging from frozen tundra to urban combat zones. The alternate sculpt captures a different personality within the same elite Recon role — perhaps a grizzled veteran, perhaps a sharp-eyed younger operator hungry to prove himself. Pair with Russian Recon 1 to build an authentic OPFOR sniper team or recon element for your most cinematic diorama yet.
