History & Military Use

The M320 Grenade Launcher Module (GLM) was developed by Heckler & Koch and adopted by the US Army beginning in 2009 as the replacement for the legacy M203. Unlike the M203, the M320 can be used as an underslung attachment to the M4/M16 or as a completely standalone weapon with a folding stock — a major tactical advantage. It fires the full range of 40×46mm low-velocity grenades, including HE, smoke, illumination, and non-lethal rounds. The M320 features a side-opening barrel for single-handed operation and improved sighting. It has been deployed extensively with US Army units in Afghanistan and Iraq, and has been adopted by several allied nations.

3D printed products may require minor post-processing. Support remnants, layer lines, or slight surface variations are normal and can be cleaned up with a hobby knife, needle files, or light sanding. Final appearance may vary slightly depending on printer settings and material used.
