1/12 scale M1919A6. The M1919 Browning medium machine gun in its A6 configuration, fitted with a shoulder stock, carrying handle, and bipod for greater infantry portability in WWII and Korean War era custom figure builds and dioramas. Compatible with standard 1/12 scale figures. Available as a physical resin cast or a digital STL file.

History & Military Use

The M1919A6 was developed during World War II to address one of the M1919A4's primary shortcomings — it required a tripod mount, making it difficult to move with an advancing infantry squad. The A6 variant added a folding bipod, a light shoulder stock, a carrying handle, and a flash hider, transforming the weapon into a more portable automatic rifle-style platform. Though heavier and more cumbersome than the BAR it was meant to supplement, the M1919A6 provided far greater sustained firepower at the squad level. It saw heavy use in the final campaigns of WWII in Europe and the Pacific, and continued in service through the Korean War before being phased out in favor of the M60.
