History & Military Use

The M111 is a modern fragmentation grenade developed as part of the US military's ongoing effort to improve lethality and safety over earlier designs like the M67. Designed with an enhanced steel fragmentation body, the M111 produces a more consistent and lethal fragment pattern on detonation. It saw evaluation and use by US Army and Special Operations forces as a direct successor concept to the standard frag grenade family, intended for close-quarters combat, trench clearing, and room entry where a reliable casualty radius is critical.

3D printed products may require minor post-processing. Support remnants, layer lines, or slight surface variations are normal and can be cleaned up with a hobby knife, needle files, or light sanding. Final appearance may vary slightly depending on printer settings and material used.
