Backstory / History

Boonie Hat 3 continues expanding the Dragoon field headgear range with a third unique boonie sculpt — enough variety alongside Hats 1 and 2 to outfit a full four-man patrol element without repetition. The boonie hat's longevity in military service speaks to its fundamental utility — sun protection, rain channeling, and the ability to be crushed into a pocket and forgotten until needed. Different units, different theaters, and different eras produced subtly different variations in brim width, crown height, and construction — all reflected across the Dragoon boonie hat series.
