History & Military Use

The ALICE M16 magazine pouch was one of the most commonly seen pieces of kit on US soldiers from Vietnam through the Gulf War and into the early GWOT era. Designed to hold three M16 magazines in a single triple-cell pouch with a snap-closure flap, it clipped directly to the ALICE belt for quick access. Virtually every US Army infantry and Marine Corps rifleman carried this pouch from the mid-1970s onward, making it one of the definitive pieces of American military field gear for over three decades.
