History & Military Use

The M14 magazine pouch predates the full ALICE system but was carried over and used alongside ALICE webbing by units still equipped with the M14 or its variants, including designated marksmen and specialized units. The M14 remained in limited US service well into the GWOT era as a designated marksman rifle, with troops often using older ALICE-style pouches to carry its distinctive 20-round magazines. An essential piece for M14-equipped custom figure builds spanning Vietnam through modern day.
