History & Military Use

The ALICE butt pack was one of the most versatile components of the ALICE load-bearing system. Worn at the small of the back or on the rear of the belt, it provided soldiers with a compact carry solution for rations, personal items, poncho, and small mission-essential gear. Universally adopted across US Army and Marine Corps units from the mid-1970s onward, it remained in common use well into the GWOT era. A staple piece for any Vietnam, Cold War, Gulf War, or early GWOT US military custom figure build.
