History & Military Use

The ALICE pistol belt was the backbone of the entire ALICE load-bearing equipment system. Introduced in 1974 and worn by virtually every US Army and Marine Corps soldier for nearly three decades, it provided the mounting platform for all ALICE pouches, canteens, and accessories via its ladder-lock quick-release buckle and wire-hook attachment points. Pairs with the ALICE Harness and ALICE Field Pack to form the complete ALICE load-bearing system — an essential base for any Vietnam through early GWOT US military custom figure build.
